Types of Dental Braces

We offer a wide variety of high quality Orthodontic treatment options including the most cutting edge braces technology.  There are three main types of dental braces available:

Shiny metal braces are the most common type of dental brace that is used in our office. They are made with medical grade stainless steel to be biocompatible, and they are small, comfortable and look super cool! Many patients prefer our metal braces because you can choose many different colours of elastics that wrap around these braces - go ahead and choose your school or favourite team colours, and you can get a new colour scheme at every adjustment visit.

Clear dental braces of made from a translucent ceramic material and are practically invisible.  They work the same way as metal braces do, and are most popular with our adult patients due to their esthetic appeal. They are very discrete and most people won’t even notice you are wearing them.

If you’re looking to move your teeth without braces, we also offer Invisalign or "invisible braces".  Invisalign uses clear sets of medical grade aligners that are worn in a sequence to gradually shift your teeth into their proper positions.  We also provide Invisalign Teen which is the same product with some specialty features to ensure that they are worn frequently enough, along with a replacement program for misplaced aligners.
